- What QR codes are and how they differ from normal barcodes
- How QR Codes are being used to support learning & improve performance
- What design elements you need to consider within a QR code strategy
- What tools you’ll need for creating, reading, and measuring QR codes

simbeckhampson Hey Paul, as always I'll be running the gambit that is my Orgs firewall on Thursday in order to access your webinar. So let's be honest it's 50/50 that I'll make it, but the Gods have smiled on me over the past few LSG webinars so who knows?
If I can't make it then have a great time and I'll catch up with the recording.
Craig
CraigTaylor74 Thanks Craig... I'll try and remember to do one of those Aztec 'unblocking' worship dances on Thursday, who know's maybe it helps... (raises eyebrows) the things one has to do in order to access knowledge in some organisations! :-o
simbeckhampson Access knowledge?!?!?!? How very dare you insinuate that our L&D team are unable to provide EXACTLY what I need to develop through a mixture of classroom courses and self-paced elearning.... you should be ashamed!!!!

Yes. Please have look at our casevideos: http://www.mobisticks.dk/pages/2
We are integrating MobiSticks.dk with several other learning projects, e.g. Vejle Digital Schools (www.vejledigitalschools.net) - see "English".
simbeckhampson Hi Paul - I've worked with QR Codes quite a bit over the past year or so, but only just got academic buy-in - here's a poster I presented recently:
http://www.dontwasteyourtime.co.uk/elearning/poster-qr-codes-in-education-the-business-school-experience/
hopkinsdavid Hi David - thanks for the link to your recent poster, which I saw when the post was released. Though I did not leave a comment, I would like to say congratulations on compiling an informative and well researched info-graphic, your passion for finding ways to use this technology is inspiring.
simbeckhampson Thank you, kind words indeed. I'd be happy to help out or get involved if there is anything you need.
All the best, David
simbeckhampson Also written a few bog posts you might find interesting, starting with http://www.dontwasteyourtime.co.uk/qr-codes/qr-codes-the-nuts-and-bolts/
Hope to be available tomorrow for your session.
All the best, David
hopkinsdavid Thursday 26th 10am UK time - thanks for your support.
simbeckhampson Thanks for flagging the time up, I've marked it as 12PM for some reason ... I would have missed it otherwise!
All the best, David
hopkinsdavid You're welcome... have a nice evening :)
Very interesting :-) Nice initiative. Perhaps you would like to see our site www.mobisticks.dk (in Danish), where citizens and institutions in the municipality of Vejle can make their own smartcodes.
@31241620 That sounds most interesting, will investigate when I'm back in the office, hope you'll be able to attend next week.

Unfortunately, but feel free to have a look at our casevideos http://mobisticks.dk/pages/2
MadsBo I liked your website... I watched the video from the Museum, interesting that you chose to use ScanLife codes over QR codes - what was the reason for this choice? I personally dislike codes that require a specific app, unless they perform a function that is otherwise unavailable with open-source codes, such as QR - I even tried scanning with Google Goggles and was unable to scan it! Also, I noticed in the video that each time he wanted to scan a code he had to bend down - not ideal... I did like the case examples given in the video though :)
Looking forward to it Paul! simbeckhampson
chrismaclaren Thanks Chris :)
Please help to get the word out by sharing this post through your networks...
simbeckhampson Great job with the #lsgwebinar. I curated it at http://www.curated.by/ddrrnt/lsgwebinar
ddrrnt Thanks Dan, really appreciate that - off to explore - talk soon.
