Mobile is the Needle. Social is the Thread.
So many insights I don’t know where to start. I love slide no.3 and slide no.4. The dramatic contrast in such a short period of time is really brought home here. I made a post earlier today about the future of mobile, when both these posts are reviewed it gives great insight into future progression.
Slide 5 also resonates. Understanding how information has changed may help some to realise that the same commodity that used to be owned by few is now freely available to everyone, everywhere 24/7. I think #education and #training need to get this concept the most, it’s simply over the time when learning was controlled, and Slide 5 shows why.
It is so obvious that mobile / tablets are devices of choice for future learning. How organisations choose to convert content into deliverable chunks is the real challenge; I hope ‘pull’ is given higher priority than ‘push’ and that the previous mentality of shrinking learning to fit a smaller screen is abolished. Connect nodes and create pulley learning.

11 Reasons Why QR Codes (Don’t) Suck
In reply to 11 Reasons Why QR Codes Suck by David Wachs

To me your argument is a little like saying, “Hey everyone, don’t look at those shiny iPads, you can simply text each other using a Nokia 3210.” I’d also suggest looking at case examples and adoption rates in countries such as Japan and South Korea. How 150 Cents Changed Everything
For a number of years now I’ve been extensivly researching all things technology and learning. I began bookmarking posts and organising data using Delicious and Chrome via a manual export-import methodology. One of the problems I found was that I was not returning to Delcious very often, so although the list was increasing in size, it didn’t really serve it’s purpose of being accessible and useful.
