+Flavio Pic it's true that they could have notified people a bit sooner. I just figured the writing was on the wall for a while, but not everybody may have seen the export option. E.g. +Theo Tol didn't.

I am just disappointed that there has been no word from +eric goldstein and the rest of the team, and no notice to give us time to download personal information stored into the Amplify servers. Pity to see a service I liked and used a lot in the past couple of years go away this way
