A visual refresh for Google+ HangoutsWhen we launched Hangouts with Extras last September, we wanted to test new features and get feedback from users. We’ve learned a lot over the past few months, and today we’re rolling out a new Hangouts look and feel that incorporates some of the “extras,” and better reflects Google’s overall design (http://goo.gl/gG1NA). Highlights include:
- Screensharing: share what’s on your computer screen with everyone in the hangout. This is the first of many extras we’re graduating to Hangouts proper.
- Bigger video: we’ve put more emphasis on the live video itself by optimizing white space and other screen elements.
Check out the attached photos to preview some of the changes, and have fun hanging out!

This is how I stumbled across this video (posted as a comment on UberVu's Facebook page)
"Someone online recommended to me that UberVu should be looked at if I was already looking at Radian6. I took their advice, and as result I found the video you posted above.
Now, I'd never heard of this Gary dude and I really should have gone to bed exactly 1hr and 15 minutes ago! Instead, I just watched the entire video of Gary Vaynerchuk, who I'd never head of, why? because I knew within the first 5 minutes that he was going to unleash a serious amount of passion.
I didn't even know what the topic was going to be about, it could have been African Elephants for all I knew. It wasn't about Elephants it was about the future of social engagement and it was a very powerful talk.
I know what Gary is talking about, I knew before listening to him, which is why I'm here already researching the likes of Radian6 and soon to be, UberVu. What I didn't realise, what I learnt from Gary, is that I personally need to spend much more time questioning and listening than talking and pushing – for that little gem, I just want to say a big thank you, Gary, and thank you UberVu for posting it!
Before I finally hit the hay, I'm adding this video to my favourites on YouTube and nipping into twitter to follow you both – tomorrow I'll be passing it on to others to watch, this message came at the perfect time! Social #serendipity strikes again (and again)!"

Hazel watches whatever folders you tell it to, automatically organizing your files according to the rules you create. It features a rule interface similar to that of Apple Mail so you should feel right at home. Have Hazel move files around based on name, date, type, what site/email address it came from (Safari and Mail only) and much more. Automatically put your music in your Music folder, movies in Movies. Keep your downloads off the desktop and put them where they are supposed to be.

Froyo is Fab… great job #google and #android teams
Just installed 2.2, done lots of tests, checked the video’s explaining the various differences, tried all of the new functions what can I say, erm, AWESOME… and no more memory problems – new option ‘move to SD’ sorted that one!
I can finally use the phone as I first intended, phew! Did I mention how often the word share appears in the Android system… love it!!!!
